The story behind 777 Seasons began in Costa Rica in 2024, when Jobe survived a serious motorcycle accident that led to a series of unlikely events involving the angel number 777 and inspired his return to Nodaway. The album was recorded at London's legendary Konk Studios, founded by The Kinks and later used by artists including Adele, Franz Ferdinand, and Jessie Ware. Written and produced by Jobe, 777 Seasons was captured almost entirely live in the room with musicians and collaborators who have worked with artists including Dermot Kennedy, beabadoobee, and Tom Odell. Created in response to the rise of AI-generated music, the album embraces the imperfections and spontaneity of analog recording. Its seven songs are tied to angel numbers, with standout track "444 Cali Waves" playing tribute to Jobe’s love for London while missing the surf culture of West LA. 777 Seasons marks Nodaway's return with a renewed commitment to timeless songwriting and the power of real musicians creating together.
